VIDEO MATRIX SWITCHERS
Matrix
switchers route multiple audio/video sources
to multiple audio/video destinations. Theseswitchers
let audio/video signals from a range of
input sources, such as DVD players, VCRs
etc. be displayed on mulitple output sources.
Our matrix switchers support most of today’s
A/V formats, like Composite, S-Video, Component
Video as well as Digital Audio. These units
can accommodate multiple signal types but
signals must be routed to the same style
outputs, ie. SVideo in must go to S-Video
out. We offer these in a number of different
input/output configurations. These are also
offered with infra-red remote control or
manual switching options. They are also
available in either table-top or rack mountable
units.

VIDEO CONVERTERS & SCALERS
Calrad
video converters use the most current conversion
technology components and semiconductors
available to achieve the most reliable and
stable signal conversions possible. Signal
converters\scalers may consist of active
and passive devices. Some converters will
scale a signal from one resolution to another
while other units will simply allow one
format to work with a different format,
for example Calrad's 35-499 series converters
provide a solution in order to convert a
SVHS signal to a composite signal and vise
versa, where our 40-811 will scale a computer
signal resolution to a 525 line NTSC composite\S-Video
format or scale a NTSC composite signal
to a computer monitor resolution. As different
technologies emerge Calrad will continue
to develop and provide solutions to solve
these complex issues.
